Clair and Scott got married at Pennard House, which is an elegant Grade II listed manor house deep in the stunning countryside in Somerset. With beautiful grounds and gardens, this is the perfect wedding for any outdoorsy country garden lovers out there.

The ceremony

The ceremony was an intimate service at the 14th century church on the estate. During the ceremony they had several beautiful readings from friends and family, It was such a personal service. They decorated the church entrance with stunning flowers created by local florist Honeysuckle Flowers. They walked out of the church into a confetti cloud of homemade dried rose petals. It was just lovely.

I love this venue because the house & grounds are just stunning. It's one of the nicest places to get married in Somerset. The staff are incredible and will help you plan & decorate your wedding to your personal taste & style.

Weddings at Pennard House are amazing, because you have exclusive access to the entire house and grounds for the duration of your stay. There are so many beautiful rooms in the house & the gardens are perfect for photos. The staff are all so attentive and friendly & make sure your day runs smoothly and on time, which is really helps when you're having a big wedding.

The Reception

The couple had John Kerry playing live Jazz music on the terrace, while family & friends nibbled on canapés and sipped chilled Champagne. The sun was out all day & it was a glorious afternoon. While guests made their way to The Coach House for the meal, we snuck off for some relaxed couple shots in the gardens.

The Coach House was set up for dinner & they ate some incredible locally sourced food, followed by some hilarious & emotional speeches. In the evening guests sipped Espresso Martinis & danced all night to a fabulous live band called The Flyaways who were amazing & I'd definitely recommend!

The Couple

Clair wore a beautiful floor-length gown and Scott wore a dapper tuxedo and they looked really incredible.

The couple got in touch with me pre covid, and their enquiry was so personal. They said they wanted a fun relaxed photographer to shoot their day. Sadly due to Covid, like many others, their wedding was postponed and rescheduled a few times. So it was incredible for them to finally say I do surrounded by their friends & family.
