Laura & Archie got married at Forde Abbey, which is the most beautiful country house in Somerset with acres of award-winning gardens. It was a gorgeous day and the sun even made an appearance!
The ceremony
The ceremony was a traditional church service in their local church. During the ceremony they had a beautiful readings from friends & family, It was really fun.
They had an incredible local florist, Fleur Provocateur who decorated the church & venue with the most stunning flowers, which I loved. After the ceremony they were showered with confetti & we all made our way to Forde Abbey for a drinks an canape reception in the gardens.
The meal was down in the stunning 12th-century Under croft. The room has deep arched windows, stone pillars and vaulted ceilings. The long tables were decorated with wild flowers and candles – I love this venue because it's a real show stopper.
Forde Abbey has a really laid-back vibe, and is one of the loveliest places to get married in Somerset. The venue offers an amazing atmosphere for a wedding – and there so many incredible backdrops that are perfect for photos.
The party
The couple had a cocktail drinks reception in the afternoon, and a live set from the awesome Brass Junkies in the evening. They danced all night and it was epic.

Laura wore a stunning floor-length gown and Archie wore pale blue Gresham Blake suit and they looked really incredible.
