'WOW ALLY, THANK YOU SO MUCH WE LOVE OUR PHOTOS'

When Caroline and Thomas first got in touch with me about their outdoor, festival wedding in 2016, I was so excited they were planning a relaxed outdoor wedding with a church ceremony, a live band and festival, camping theme. Caroline and Thomas are the most fun people and I couldn't wait to shoot their wedding! I first met Caroline on a hen do in Wales. I'd shot a wedding in Sussex that she's attended so she booked me form her own which I was very happy about.

The excitement before the wedding

I started shooting at the magnificent Malvern Collage in Worcestershire, where the groom and his friends were relaxing before the big event. It was so chilled out and relaxed, the sun was out and it was going to be a glorious day.  Caroline wore a beautiful white gown from Paverly Bridal and Thomas wore a fantastic timeless tailcoat, they looked so dapper.

The outdoor ceremony

The wedding took place Malvern Collage in Worcestershire and was a traditional church ceremony. They had some beautiful readings from friends which was really lovely. After the ceremony we all formed a huge long line for the confetti train and then we travelled to the reception. Caroline & Tom drove off in a white Morgan car with the roof down & a Just Married sign on the back. Fab!

The reception

The wedding reception took place at Tom's parents house, which was decorated like an outdoor festival with flags and tents. It was incredible.

It was a beautifully sunny day, which was what the couple had hoped for. While the guests enjoyed canapes and cocktails, the couple mingled and laughed with their friends as well as spending a bit of time with me taking some group & couple shots.

During the reception the wonderful catering team made an incredible anti pasti tower for guests to pick at, all washed down with some French champagne Tom & Caroline had chosen on a recent trip to France. Everyone loved this. The table settings were so unique! Caroline had made them all herself. The theme was birds. Each table had a different bird on a moss covered log surrounded by flowers & candles, check them out below, they were absolutely incredible!

For dinner they had a slap up meal, and it was absolutely delicious. After dinner they had some wonderful & utterly hilarious speeches, then the band kicked off the party and the couple had their first dance.

Here's there amazing festival style wedding...
