FUN BRIGHTON WEDDING AT FABRICA

When Bianca and Matt first got in touch with me about their Fabrica wedding in Brighton, I was so excited – they were planning a really fun and stylish wedding with a church ceremony, a photobooth and even Glitter bar. Bianca and Matt are the most fun people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!

Getting ready

I started shooting at The Grand Hotel in Brighton, where the girls were getting ready. Bianca wore a stunning Justin Alexandar gown and Matt wore a sharp suit with a beautiful succulent button hole. The girls got ready in a large room at the front of the hotel with incredible views over Brighton Beach.

The ceremony

The wedding took place at St Mary's Catholic Church in Brighton, and was a traditional religious ceremony. They had some beautiful readings which had people in tears. After the ceremony they walked down the aisle together and were showered with colourful confetti, and then we all got on the party bus to the reception. The funniest thing was that Matt actually left his mobile in the Uber. WITH HIS SPEECH ON IT! Nightmare. After a lot of phone calls and a bit of stress the phone eventually turned up, JUST in time for his speech. Drama or what!

The party

The wedding reception took place at Brightons hip venue Fabrica in Ship Street, which they’d decorated with incredible flowers from local florist Hollyflorist. Bianca & Matt love traveling & beer so the table plans were based around their favourite craft beers from around the globe. It was so unique & personal to them.

It was a beautifully sunny day, which was perfect. While the guests enjoyed canapes and cocktails, we wandered around the city doing fun and creative portraits. My favourite photo from our couples session is in the Pavilion Gardens, we stepped onto the building and got told off by security on a loud tannoy, SO FUNNY!
