GRITTENHAM BARN WEDDING

When Megan and Garath first got in touch with me about their Grittenham Barn wedding in Petworth, I was so excited – they were planning a really fun and relaxed wedding with an intimate ceremony, lawn games and a homemade cocktail bar. Megan and Garath are the loveliest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!

Getting ready

I started shooting at Megans parents house, where the bride and her friends were getting ready together. It was so much fun, because all the girls were there. Megan wore a stunning Maggie Sottero dress and Garath wore a stylish Stephen Lawrence suit. and they looked so incredible.

The ceremony

The wedding took place at the incredible Grittenham Barn in Petworth, and was a romantic intimate ceremony. They had some beautiful readings, which brought pretty much everyone to tears. After the ceremony they were showered with confetti, and then the party began.

The party

The wedding reception took place at Grittenham Barn, which was full of beautiful flowers & romantic candles. It was stunning.

It was a beautifully sunny day, which was what the couple had hoped for. While the guests enjoyed canapes and cocktails, we wandered around the venue doing fun and creative portraits. My favourite photo from the afternoon is When Megan & Garath hid amongst the grape vines. The light & colours are perfect!

During the reception they had a cocktail drinks reception, which went down a storm. For dinner they had incredible Paella, and it was gobbled down in seconds by everyone. After dinner they had some wonderful speeches, then the party got started and everyone hit the dancefloor. They also had loads of Royal face masks, which was so much fun.

The couple

Megan and Garath met in nightclub at the end of Bognor Pier! LOVE IT!  They say if you’re planning a wedding, get all your friends and family involved. Even the Cat Mr Beamish! Here’s their stunning Grittenham Barn wedding!
